Privacy notice
What this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated August 18, 2026.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by MTZ Events, a California General Partnership, 30791 State St, Hemet, CA 92543, United States. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to hello@maximeandtorri.com.
2. What this notice covers
This notice covers this showcase site only — the pages you are reading now, and the waitlist form on them. The learning platform is a separate service with its own account system, payments and content, and its own privacy policy, which applies once you create an account there.
It applies wherever you live, including the European Union (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA).
3. What we collect
From the waitlist form. Your email address, which is required. Optionally your country, your dance level, and the membership you're interested in. That's all — we don't ask for your name, and we don't buy or import lists.
From the private-lesson and booking forms. These open a pre-filled message in your own email app. Whatever you write travels by email only; this site stores none of it.
Automatically. Your IP address reaches our host and the providers listed below as a technical necessity of loading a page — that is how the web works. We keep no analytics and build no profile from it. This site has no account, no login and no payment: nothing of that kind is collected here.

We do not sell or share your personal information, including as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
5. Your consent
You tick a box before submitting the form, and that choice is recorded. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link; one click is enough, with no explanation needed. You can also ask us to delete your details outright.
6. Who processes your data
Each of these providers acts on our instructions, or as an independent controller for the content it serves:

The map on the events page and the videos load only when you ask for them — when you open that page, or press play. Until then, nothing is requested from those providers.
7. International transfers
MTZ Events is a US entity, so your data is ultimately processed in the United States, even though the contact list itself is hosted in France. For European and UK users we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You may request a copy at hello@maximeandtorri.com.
8. How long we keep it

9. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. There is nothing to accept or refuse, which is why you see no cookie banner.
Two exceptions worth naming. The anti-spam check may store a short-lived token in your browser so it doesn't have to challenge you again; Cloudflare states it is not used for cross-site tracking. And YouTube sets its own cookies once you press play on a video. If we ever add analytics, we will ask for your consent before switching it on.
10. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, hand it over in a machine-readable format, or object to processing — and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
European and UK residents. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — the CNIL in France.
California residents. You have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do neither), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Write to hello@maximeandtorri.com with « Privacy request » in the subject line. We answer within 30 days, or up to 45 for complex requests.
11. Children
The waitlist is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us their details, write to hello@maximeandtorri.com and we will delete them promptly.
12. Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. The key that lets this site write to our contact list is held server-side and never reaches your browser. No system is perfectly secure; where the law requires it, we will notify you within 72 hours of a breach affecting you.
13. Changes
We may update this notice. Significant changes will be announced by email to the people on the list, at least 30 days before they take effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
